Formed in 1893, Penarth Swimming and Water Polo Club (PSWPC) is the oldest swimming club in Wales!
We are a small, friendly club that focuses on stroke improvement and swimming for fitness and fun. Typically our members have joined us having followed a course of lessons at the local pool, they love swimming and wish to continue without having to make the jump to the seriousness of competitive swimming clubs (although we'll help and encourage you if this is your goal!).

2025 Club Championships Awards Evening
We’re excited to announce our Awards Evening will be held on: Saturday 8th November; 5:00–7:00pm, St Augustine’s Church Hall, Albert Road, Penarth. Tickets are free! A booking link will be shared soon. There will be a bar, raffle, cheese & biscuits – it promises to be a fantastic celebration of our swimmers’ achievements!
2025 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
The first session of this year’s Club Championships starts next Monday, 22nd September. Warm up starts at 7pm. Please get your entries in as soon as possible, but definitely by end of play on Friday 19th September. Entries on the night will not be permitted.
EASTER BREAK
We have no swimming sessions for the next fortnight and we are back in the pool on Monday 28th April. Don’t eat too much chocolate and have a great Easter break!
